The mages sit nervous in their tower when the news that the Brotherhood is once again on the move reaches their ears. Bren, learning that the Brotherhood might hold the key to freeing his father, travels across northern Kurt in order to reach their new stronghold. Along the way he starts to get a grip on his magical powers, but with each passing day his body is slowly changing, and no one knows if it is for better or for worse.
