Love it!
Really a great app that alows me to write with a different sensation. In school, many years ago, I recieved training on how to use a typewriter. Loving the sound, the motion and the feel.

I simply love it!
I use this app a lot and it's so much fun to write with it. But It would be more complete with a nordic keyboard layout.
And it would be cool if it were possible to choose and insert our own documents and use Hanx Writer to continue writing on those documents, and insert photos to projects. Can you "unlock" these features?

Love it. 5 stars if u make it possible to make the font bigger/more legible and also integrate with other apps like Notes, Day One and Evernote, text export and not only PDF export!

Great, but BT keyboard support could be better!
Evokes the same feeling as using a typewriter in many ways, but was hoping the onscreen keys would disappear when using a BT keyboard with it. There also seems to be a few problems with the cursor and sound when using a BT keyboard? Hopefully this will be part of an update.

Adorable and nostalgic!
I love this app. All the noise from the typers and the looks of a finish document. Brings me back :) Makes me want to write a script or a book.

You have to stare at the Hanx keyboard covering half of your screen while typing on your bluetooth keyboard. How stupid is that?....

Den funker veldig bra og har en sabla flott lyd.
Eneste ankepunktet etter kort test er at den ikke leveres med norsk alfabet (med forbehold om at jeg ikke har tatt med nok tid til utforskingen).

well this a totally different way of writing on the iPad. I have always liked to write, then of course on a computer. But sicne I got the Ipad i lost the tuch with the words. And I come to realize that I missesd the physical touch of the keys on the keyboard. With this I feel good about writing again. I just love the sound it makes. My dad used write on a typewriter, and I always found the sound comforting....

Great App, but..
I think this is an great App.
I alredy think differently when writing.
But: i need the Norwewgian special letters.
Is it possible to make an update with this?

Buggy
- No screen support for other than English languages. You get æ ø and å if you write with a bluetooth keyboard, but the formatting is missing.
- Hangs when I try to write with accents (e.g. é)
- The output PDF does not match the text wrap in the app.
Not usable for producing end results. Only redeeming quality is the ability to mark and copy text for pasting into another word editor.

This app only support US English keyboard, which makes it practically useless for other languages.

I enjoy it but it can better
Pros:
Perfect sound like typewriter which motivates you to write.
Some animation features can be on and off.
Great look and easily readable just by turning the iPad to vertical position.
Cons:
It is just in English for the moment. (I really need it in Norwegian and Turkish as well)
A word offers option should be added and moreover we should be able to add new words. Auto-correct can sometimes be necessary.
End note option would be great which the app doesn't have for the moment.

Great start, but still in need of maturity
Pros:
+ The sound, the look, the "feel".
+ Centered cursor is surprisingly easy to follow what you're writing.
+ Drag the paper around the screen to look at your document.
+ Some sensible options, like turning the sounds, typewriter-style xxxx delete, and animations off.
Cons:
- Confined to an English keyboard configuration.
- Exports only to .pdf, so your text is not easily exportable.
- The sounds get a bit much after a few minutes. "MAKE IT STOP!" -- Everyone in the same room.
