amazon locked me out of my account for no reason and the only way to contact them is through a phone number abroad my country which is really expensive to call. the app is lousy and only a few good improvements have been made during the years i've had an account. never using again

Dissapointment.
I am extremely upset with Amazon and they cant be trusted with anything. The reason for my anger is because someone in the company decided to leak an album’s release date, the name of the album and the names of the songs on the album. I know this has been extremely upseting for thousands of people and the artist of the album Louis Tomlinson who have worked really hard on writing and choosing the right songs for the album, he has also been very exited for the album’s release and wanted to keep the name of the album and the name of the songs a secret. Louis havent even released the date and the fact that Amazon just leaked everything is heart breaking.

I love amazon but it’s so buggy
Amazon is a great place to buy stuff when it works properly but lately it’s been so buggy. It refuses to change currency no matter how many times I try to change it, the settings button often doesn’t work and I have to close and open the app many times before it lets me order stuff please fix this.

I do not recommend ordering from Amazon they literally I ordered a bag to Norway and it sent to Oslo and they said I’ll just go and pick it up and now we literally have to pay extra just for it to be sent to where we literally pressed it to send Amazon it’s like the same thing as ordering from a person at the street it’s literally the same thing I was just someone come to do you wanna bye-bye فاطمةN it’s a creepy way so I would literally not recommend ordering from Amazon ever in your life would not recommend this app app app and I will just delete it if I were you literal do not trust it I know it’s a random strangers can literally just paid to be on Amazon so you can literally buy from people that are not even supposed to be allowed

Amazon app is neatly crafted to meet our needs
In my experience Amazon really cares its customers, please keep it up. App is also easy to use, although I find some small bugs here and there but not sure where to raise it, but it does not impact the main flows.
I appreciate again Amazon for customer oriented services and app developers making this app.

Hi I’ve loved having audio to listen to, but all of a sudden one has to be a member and pay something unreal, first to join this membership, then a price for the audio!! Which I think is unrealistic. I have a illness called MSA-p. Which stands for Multiple System Atrophy Parkinsonism . That’s why I love audio, so I don’t have to hold the kindle, but I have purchased a “book holder” . To be able to relax and listen is awesome. Now all of a sudden they’ve stopped allowing me that pleasure Please tell me if I must really purchase the membership! Thank you

I log in with email and password and yet I am asked for confirmation that is sent on my mobile before I can enter my account. Discovered that I have 2FA enabled on my account. Pray that you have your old phone handy since you will need it to approve login. I didn’t. Doesn’t give you any alternative to use text messaging or email. They may not be bleeding edge but it works all the time.

Accessibility problem in the app
There is a problem in the Amazon app related to the screen reader VoiceOver for iPhone: After entering a name in the page for creating a new account VoiceOver reads out "Image" in the top of the screen but gives no information about what is on the image. It is therefore not possible to know what the image is about through VoiceOver. This problem can make the app less accessible for persons who operates it via VoiceOver due to a visual impairment, or for other reasons. I hope it will be fixed as soon as possible.

Incomprehensible design regression
The Amazon app has had an excellent interface for several years, and because of how its recomendations were presented (and how you could fix them) I've probably spent thousands of punds on books and films over the same period. The new layout has reduced features, and follows an annoying trend in creating interfaces for mobile - reducing overview for simplicity. Sure, the screen can become too crowdy, but there comes a point where simplicity simply means you feel lost.
This new design will mean that I'll spend less time on the app just flicking through recommendations, which will mean fewer impulse buys. Good for me, bad for Amazon.

Is not good for people outside of the USA.
They don't converte then currency to the local currency until your about to get charged, so I have to check manually what the usd is in Norwegian kr and way to many products can't be shipped to where I live. Why would I want to view 500 products that I can't get? Way to much does not make sense.
