Together with your connected Philips Air device, Air+ provides a smart experience that ensures you breathe clean and healthy air.
The app keeps track of all indoor and outdoor pollutants and automatically adjust your device’s performance, so you don’t have to. Air+ keeps you in control, at home or away, with a device remote and notifications about all your air concerns including pollutants, allergies and gas. And by staying in the know with insights into your air quality data from past to present, you are in full control of breathing the clean, healthy air you deserve.
Auto Plus mode - the smartest way to clean air
Once you activate Auto Plus mode in the Air+ app, your indoor air will automatically be cleaned to
keep pollutants at bay. This Self-adaptive Technology, powered by Artificial Intelligence, considers
the readings of the smart sensors, room size, outdoor data and behavioral patterns to maximize
performance.
Disclaimer: Auto Plus mode will be released in winter 2022 for most Philips Air devices.

Thanks to the smart device sensors, Air+ provides you with real-time, indoor air quality data. Ranging from high-level snapshots to detailed views, all data is available to you up until a year ago. More information about each pollutant and their causes are included so you can make well informed decisions about your indoor air.
In full control of your air, at home or away
Air+ features a built-in remote so you are in full control of your device’s performance. Seamlessly
switch between different modes, fan speeds and other features to tailor the device settings to your
needs. Great for turning your device off when you’re away or on when you’re heading home, or to
make changes without being near your Air device.
Easy upkeep for maximized output
Air+ tracks when it’s time to clean or replace certain parts of you Air device to make sure it runs at
peak performance. Messaging and notifications alert you when the low-effort maintenance should
be taken care of, and Air+ has step-by-step instructions handy if you need them. Plus, in most cases,
you can buy new filters straight from the app.
A holistic air quality experience with outdoor data
As outdoor air quality can have a big impact on the indoor levels, Air+ includes a comprehensive
overview of real-time outdoor readings. Additionally, Air+ provides a quick snapshot of the current
weather at each location. You can add up to five cities to keep you in the know about the air quality
conditions near and far.
Air+ also supports a smarter experience with Philips Robot Vacuum Cleaners.

Not too bad but not great either
If something goes wrong adding a device there’s not much help to get so you’re on your own. Not even Philips’ own support was of much help (too many levels between the support personnel and the app developers?)
Alerts - some granularity/way to select the kind of alerts one would like to get would have been nice. As of now, getting the alert “The door of the appliance is open. Please close the door…” when I’ve just removed the water tank to refill it is just annoying. All I really need is the alert about the water tank being empty. Others might want the alerts about air quality etc. so let us choose for ourselves.
I have an AC2729/10 2-in-1 and although it does it’s job it’s not perfect;
* The confirmation DING!’s are ANNOYING!! (and too loud). I can half-way understand it when using the touch panel ‘buttons’ on the device itself but not when using the app to change something on it.
I wish there was a way in the app to turn the sound confirmations off completely, at least when using the app to change something on the device. A short popup in the app as a confirmation could have worked better but isn’t really necessary as one can see the result (change in fan speed etc.) in the app.
* The display light is kind of hideous. There should be a way in the app to at least have it turn off after a few seconds of inactivity (i.e. after touching the ‘buttons’ on the device). Having it come om and remaining on when using the touch panel ‘buttons’ is also ANNOYING!
* The (estimated) remaining percentage of the filters isn’t good. The filters (AC, HEPA) went from 39% to 15% today and was at 39% less than two weeks ago after being run for 6+ months. The device has never reported worse than ‘fair’ nor worse than 3 for both PM2.5 and allergens.

Kun 2.4GHz nettverk, både telefon og enhet må ligge på samme bånd 🤬
Å kun tilby 2.4GHz bånd i 2021 er horribelt, bor du i blokk kan dette by på problemer da båndet fort er brukt opp. Det kunne vært ok om kun enheten lå på 2.4, men du får ikke styrt enheten fra appen om ikke enheten er knyttet til 2.4 GHz båndet. De fleste mobiler og nettverk i dag er knyttet til 5GHz båndet, og du må derfor bytte bånd for å styre enheten 🤬 dette er for dårlig Philips!
Philips, styr enheten etter nettverk, ikke WiFi punkt!
