The Weber Connect app is your secret ingredient for smart barbecuing!
Weber Connect is the companion app to Weber smart barbecues and devices. When paired to a Weber Connect barbecue or device, the app becomes your sensor dashboard, remote control and recipe book all in one!
Track temperatures from anywhere
The temperature of your barbecue is important. Weber Connect barbecues and devices can track your barbecue's temperature and alert you when it drops below your target temperature due to a flameout, or spikes due to a flareup. With the Weber Connect app you can monitor the barbecue's temperature and get alerts for important events.
Even more important is the temperature of your food! A few degrees are all that stand between perfect and overdone. Weber Connect barbecues and devices let you track your food's internal temperature precisely with connected food probes and transmit them to your app. Watch the temperature rise on the graph, so you know when it's almost time to head back outside to take the steaks off, or set a target temperature and get alerted when the steaks are done, no matter where you are.
Adjust the barbecue without getting up from your sofa.
Some Weber barbecues, like the SmokeFire, can have their cooking temperature and mode changed by the app. This means you can turn the heat up, go into SmokeBoost mode, or shut down your barbecue, without taking your eyes off the game.
Never wonder what to make for dinner again.
The Weber Connect app incorporates over 800 recipes, with more being published every month. Every recipe has been crafted and tested by Weber Grillmasters, and many are fan favourites, so you know you can't go wrong with any of them! Almost half of our recipes are Smart Recipes, which walk you through, step-by-step, with short looping videos and clear instructions, so you know when you're doing it right. Barbecuing has never been easier or more fun!

WiFi connectivity improvements
• Users with some types of WiFi routers have found that their barbecues would stop communicating over WiFi unexpectedly. Weber Connect 2.3 includes improvements to this behaviour, and more are on the way.
New colours for buttons and graph
• Just in time for (late) summer! Or just in time to get you through the rest of the winter if you're in the Southern Hemisphere!.. We have cheery new colours and subtly refined UI for the Dashboard.
Better separation of Essentials vs. All Recipes
• When looking at the recipes in a specific category, we found ourselves losing track of where the Essentials ended and the rest of the recipes began. So we've put Essentials in one of those slick horizontal carousels, which keeps them all up at the top of the category.
2.2: New/old notification sound, notifications are time-sensitive, Settings screen got reorganized.

Bedre utseende, men oppskrifter på feil språk
Etter oppdatering er alle oppskrifter på engelsk. Tidligere var dette på norsk språk.
Hvis app er mer stabil og språk på oppskrifter kommer tilbake til norsk, gir jeg 5 stjerner.
Utseende på app ser mye bedre ut, så håper ny app er mer stabil.

Useless
After installing, the app it reclaimes for an update, and this update ends in a loop never to end. This must be fixed.

Highly unstable
This product probably wasn’t ready for the market when released. After a major software update where the thermometer got stuck in an endless update cycle, it now works fairly good most of the time. But every now and then, the app frantically jumps back and forth through the cooking steps, starts the whole thing from scratch, etc. Wouldn’t rely on this for an import dinner.

Kjøpte Weber Connect for 1399,- og hadde forventet at Weber hadde gjort en bedre jobb enn dette.
Jeg har eid denne i en mnd.
Og produktet har kun funket 1 av 6 grillinger.
Det kommer stadig nye oppdatering som tyder på bugs og at produktet ikke har blitt testet skikkelig før de slapp produktet på markedet. Disse oppdateringene tar ca. 25min. som er utrolig irriterende når du står klar for å grille.
Prisen for etuferdig produkt er helt latterlig.

Bad update
After update, my phone won’t connect. Now it’s just an overpriced dumb thermometer.
*Managed to hard reset the device and got it working, but it was very annoying the app automatically started the firmware update just when I was about to cook with no option to abort. Waiting 25 minutes when all is set and ready for bbq is just hopeless

Underwhelmed
This app targets those who have never grilled or bbqed before. So much potential in terms of features to monitor your cooks in an app like this, but Weber apparently have no ambitions whatsoever to make this useful for true enthusiasts of BBQ and grilling.

Stuck in loop....... useless

Stuck in update loop
Can’t use device as it is stuck in an endless loop of software updates. Dowloads and send at least 4 different files 1.2_1397_d, f and some more to device, try to confirm and start over. Restarted app, re-installed app, tried connected to power and no probes (as I should) and no power and connected probes. Nothing works, and device is useless just nagging for updates. Rubbish.
