I find this app to be the best for learning Korean. It’s easy to comprehend, their audio is consistent and the outlay/learning ladder is set up in a useful and easy manner, making it easy to learn the language. I have the premium version, which is highly recommended.

Disappointing
Hi I’m not American or from any English countries but I can’t understand any other of the languages that is o mothered so I can’t learn British to when me and my bestie is going to is going to be a disaster

Only 2 lessons are free
The languages are correct but i can only do 2 lessons then i have to pay 1700kr for the rest of them. Im 13 and just trying to learn a language but its hard when the only correct information is so expensive.

Too difficult start
I tried Korean. The difficulty increased way too fast in the beginning. Specifically, the “nationalities level 2” module wanted me to put together complete sentences. This being the second day I opened the app, I had forgot a lot from the previous day. The difficulty just made me quit.
Duolingo’s difficultly increase was better paced for me.

Learning Korean with LingoDeer
This app really helps me with learning Korean. I actually really like the way the lessons are made. It’s like a game, it’s fun, but I also learn much at the same time. I can’t wait for the next lessons!

Preferred over Duolingo (Chinese)
Seems much better than Duolingo so far, at least when it comes to Chinese. I’m a casual learner so the price puts me of a little, but for people really looking to learn this seems like a fantastic tool, and even if you are a casual learner like me, the things that you have access to for free is a great help getting started!:)

I loved the app at the start, but then when i came to next level you needed to pay! And a lot to like 15 dollar month!! So i like the first part but not the rest

Lingodeer is so much better
I really wanted to learn japanese so I started with Duolingo and I struggled so i saw a TikTok with LingoDeer and then I wanted to try and its fantastic i have learned so much and I’m so thankful

Amazing !!!
The first time i used duolingo i thought it was the best language app, but after i Found LingoDeer, I was completly shocked! LingoDeer teaches you What you want to learn! , instead of unrealistic Things like «the cat was going out shopping». This app has both listening and writing task, that is also very fun and gives you An understanding on how conversation works in the different languages they teach. I completely love this app❤️✨🥺

Corrects the tests wrong
It’s better than Duolingo because it explains the grammar. But when it tells me that 한국 사람 is wrong, the correct answer should be 한국 사람, I have difficulties trusting the feedback.

I really enjoy using this app for language learning and would especially recommend it for Asian languages!
I partly switched over from Duolingo about a year ago and now the Duolingo app is deleted due to not being in use anymore. LingoDeer does everything Duolingo does, but better. It also does a lot of things I missed in Duolingo.
Apart from minor annoying bugs from time to time, my overall experience is that this app makes learning fun, which is exactly what I need to stay motivated. I’ve mostly been learning Korean, but lately I’ve started to look a bit at Japanese and even picked up some German and Spanish from back at school. So far they also seem to work well, but I’ve only tried a few chapters well within my comfort zone.
Even though I’m fluent in English, my mother tongue is Norwegian, so sometimes it’s extra challenging to learn through my second language and find myself translating between Korean <-> English <-> Norwegian. This really isn’t a problem and it happens less and less over time. Just thought I’d tell you, in case you are in a similar situation.
Well, try it! I’ll go back to learning now!

Best app I’ve seen!
This is a great app for learning languages. I used it to learn Japanese before, but now (since I’m having French as a subject) I decided to try learning French with the app. It works really well.
The way it feels like you’re playing a game makes it fun and not feel so repetitive. The app also have a lot of useful features. For example that you can download all the courses and do it all offline. It also has a cute logo and I love the design overall.
One thing I’d like to see is the opportunity to play music in the background. This is just a wish, because the app works well without it.
To conclude, I love this app! If you consider learning Japanese, Korean, Chinese, French, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Spanish, or German I couldn’t recommend this app more.
